How I Will Win...

Most people like to be associated with a winner, so the question of "Can you win?" is one you might be interested in.

Asking myself the same question, I gave the quick and easy answer of: "Yes, with enough votes at the right time."

Nice enough, but not too useful.

So, I asked a follow up: "How many votes would I need and when?"

Looking at previous elections in the 8th, 40,000 votes gets one into the top two and past the primary, then 160,000 is what's needed to win the general election.  "40k, then by 4"

Staying focused on the primary and the 40k votes needed to continue to the general, I will look to get:

  • 10k votes from folks that might otherwise vote for a Republican...
  • 10k votes from folks that might otherwise vote for a Democrat...
  • 10k votes from folks that might consider themselves an Independent or preferring 'Neither Major' party...
  • 10k votes from folks that might otherwise not vote in a primary...

If I do better with any of the above groups, then I need not do as well in the remaining ones; though, I hope to provide a viable option to all of them.  I do have a path for the general election as well...but, first things first.

Please reach out to dillonforcongress@outlook.com and let me know if you find yourself in one of the above and have any questions that can help you decide if I would be a good candidate to cast your vote for.  I'd love to hear from you.
